Volunteer

 

To maximize support for our vendors, Global Village operates with just one paid employee.  We rely heavily on volunteers (including our working board) to help with the many tasks involved in pursuing our mission, being involved in downtown Billings and the larger community, and keeping the store financially successful and a fun place to shop.  We would love for you to become part of the team.   Whatever amount of time you have — here and there or on a regular basis — we will find a way for you to help.

Volunteers are needed for:

• Store clerking and sales (we especially need people for half-day shifts and occasional backup); we will provide training
• Staffing, setup, and prep for off-site events such as holiday sales at churches and other locations, sales at art and craft fairs, and fundraising
• Professional services (including financial and technology consulting)
• Computer services and data entry
• Community outreach and education

• Your name, address, phone number, and email
•  The number of hours you might have available
• The type of activities that interest you
• Any special skills or training you might have
